Himax Application / Use Case – Dashcam Parking Mode
Overview
今时今日几乎每个人的车子都会安装行车纪录器，而行车纪录器在发展一段时间之后，从早期仅配备低品质传感器且外型笨重，到今天的智能、联网、轻巧甚至做到隐藏式，已经有明显进步。行车纪录器全时录影，最主要目的是在不幸发生交通事故时，万一没有事发画面有时候难以追究肇事责任；然而另一个被关注的功能，则是在车子熄火後，行车纪录器还能运行在低功耗状况下来监控四周环境，在被其他人或物或车辆碰伤时，可留下有利影象证据，即为停车监控或驻车哨兵模式。
Himax WE1 Plus做为主处理器的偕同处理器，在停车熄火模式下，可实现特定事件预录来完善功能更齐全的行车纪录器终端应用。
Person Detection(人员侦测)，能判断人类与非人类；在物体接近时，传感器侦测到移动且WE1 Plus判定物体为人，才会唤醒主行车纪录处理器开始录影，避免浪费内存保存空间和电池电量的消耗。而当G-Sensor侦测到触碰，除了锁定当时录影文件避免被复盖或人为破坏，主处理器亦被启动，WE1 Plus送出事发前8秒的画面，还原完整事故始末与细节。
